Virumaa Outreach Manager - join the team!

A State Specific Planning process must be carried out in order to find a suitable location for the nuclear power plant. This is still some time away (see fermi.ee/ajajoon), but we have been carrying out the relevant analyses and preliminary studies since 2020. In connection with the preliminary studies and planning for the small reactor, we will also need additional outreach work in Virumaa.

Your tasks would be to:

  • Demonstration of small reactor activities in West and East-Viru County
  • Engaging local communities and organising information exchange
  • Planning and running events
  • Liaising with journalists and assisting them in reporting on nuclear energy development.
  • Drafting and distributing newsletters and information material
  • Developing Fermi Energy demonstration rooms and organising visits.

Your main working area is West and Ida-Viru County. You can work part-time from your home office, but often your work takes you away from home. You can also work in Tallinn office.

  • You are strongly connected to Viru County
  • You have been involved in some outstanding planning work
  • Communicate fluently in both Estonian and Russian.
  • You have already worked as a spokesperson, communications specialist or manager.
  • You have a car and a driving licence to drive in Virumaa
